Compare Walton air conditioner prices in Bangladesh: 1 ton to 2 ton inverter splits across the Inverna, Avian, Riverine and ProGen series, with listed prices, key specifications and warranty terms. Walton assembles locally, which is why its service reach outside Dhaka matters as much as the headline price.

Walton Hi-Tech Industries, based in Bangladesh, manufactures consumer electronics including air conditioners for the local market. Local assembly is the practical reason many buyers shortlist Walton: parts availability and service points reach far more districts than import-only brands manage, though you should still confirm coverage where you live.
The AC range centres on intelligent inverter splits in 1, 1.5 and 2 ton, sold under series names like Inverna, Avian, Riverine and ProGen. Current models commonly use R32 refrigerant, and the Extreme Saver line carries BSTI 5-star ratings. Non-inverter splits are also sold for buyers who want lower upfront cost, but model-level prices for those could not be verified in this check.
Brand-level traits first, then what is confirmed per model.
All ten models tracked here are inverter-based. An inverter varies compressor speed instead of cutting fully off, which holds temperature steadier and usually runs quieter overnight. That suits rooms cooled many hours daily — the standard Bangladeshi summer bedroom case.
On price, the 1.5 ton inverter span runs ৳54,932 (Riverine 18M) to ৳81,990 (Inverna Extreme Saver 18H) — a ৳27,000 gap driven by series, efficiency rating, filtration and smart features rather than cooling power, since all are 18,000 BTU. No fixed savings percentage is promised here: real electricity use depends on your hours, thermostat and room, covered below. How inverter AC works →
Factual groupings from the 17 September 2026 check.
Walton model names differ by a letter or two (12J vs 12M, 18H vs 18M) with very different prices — always match the full model number on the memo and warranty card. How to compare AC quotations →
Capacity sets the ceiling, but thermostat setting, room sealing, outdoor heat, daily hours and maintenance decide the bill. A sealed room at 26°C can cost far less than a leaky one at 20°C on the same model.
Example calculation (illustrative, not a bill prediction): the Inverna SuperSaver 18H lists 1,240 W rated input. At full load, 8 hours a day, that is 1.24 × 8 ≈ 9.9 kWh/day, or ≈ 298 kWh/month. At an assumed ≈৳7.5/kWh that is ≈৳2,230/month — but an inverter rarely runs at full load all evening, and your slab rate, hours and thermostat will differ. The older R410A InverterNa 18C lists ≈1,510 W input, so scale the same maths by about 1.2× for a full-load comparison.
Walton publishes time-bound warranty schedules, so the purchase date on your card matters. Terms seen for current inverter models include a 5-year inverter PCB warranty and 2-year after-sales service cover; microchannel condensers carry extended cover on recent residential units. Compressor cover reaches up to 12 years on some distributor-listed models, with replacement guarantees and free periodic servicing on others.
It depends on series and capacity. In our 17 September 2026 check, Walton inverter splits ranged from Tk 46,899 (1 ton Inverna 12M) to Tk 92,600 (2 ton Avian 24H), with 1.5 ton models between Tk 54,932 and Tk 81,990.
Riverine 18M Tk 54,932, InverterNa 18C Smart Tk 64,000, ProGen Iconic 18H Tk 65,520, Avian 18M Tk 76,500, Inverna SuperSaver 18H Tk 78,990 and Inverna Extreme Saver 18H Tk 81,990 in the same check.
The Avian Prime Saver 24H listed at Tk 92,600. Get an itemised quotation covering unit, pipework, brackets and labour.
Yes — the Inverna, Avian, Riverine and ProGen series are built around intelligent inverter technology. Non-inverter splits are also sold for lower upfront cost.
Small shaded bedrooms (100–130 sq ft) usually start at 1 ton — Avian 12J or Inverna 12M. Medium bedrooms (130–180 sq ft) generally need 1.5 ton.
Sometimes, and only up to a limited pipe length. Brackets, extra copper pipe, drilling and breaker work are commonly billed separately — ask for it itemised.
It varies with capacity, settings and hours. The 1.5 ton Inverna 18H lists 1,240 W input — about 1.24 kWh per hour at full load, dropping as the inverter settles. See the worked example above.
Start with the tables and cards here, then verify the exact model number on the seller's product page — 12J versus 12M is one letter with a different price.
Clean filters every few weeks in peak season and service professionally once or twice a year. Some inverter coverage includes free visits — check your card. Book sooner if cooling weakens or water drips.
